Silent Hill Townfall Alyssa — Is There Such a Character?

The short answer

Every announced Townfall character is accounted for, and Alyssa is not among them. The official cast reveal named three: Simon Ordell, Zoe Ellis and Richard.

Two further names, Dr. Glenn and the Patient, appear in trophy descriptions. That is the complete set of confirmed names, and it does not include an Alyssa or an Alessa.

Townfall's actual cast

You are probably thinking of Alessa Gillespie

Alessa Gillespie is a central character in the original Silent Hill from 1999, and her name is a very close match for the spelling people tend to remember.

She has no announced connection to Townfall. Konami markets Townfall as a full-length, self-contained story, not a sequel to or continuation of the first game.

Different setting, too: Townfall takes place on the Scottish island town of St. Amelia in 1996, not in the American town of Silent Hill.

Why we are telling you this instead of writing a profile

It would be easy to publish a page of invented details for a character who does not exist, and plenty of low-quality sites do exactly that.

The honest answer is more useful: you either want Alessa from the 1999 game, or you want the actual Townfall cast, and both of those are one click away.

Who Alessa Gillespie is

Alessa is central to the original 1999 Silent Hill, and her story is bound up with that game's town, its cult and its endings. She is one of the series' most recognisable names.

Townfall shares none of that. It is set on the Scottish island town of St. Amelia in 1996, with a new protagonist and a story Konami describes as self-contained.

If your interest is Alessa specifically, a Townfall guide is not where that thread continues.

What Townfall is instead

A first-person psychological horror game from Screen Burn Interactive, formerly No Code, published by Konami with Annapurna Interactive on Unreal Engine 5.

You play Simon Ordell, who wakes in St. Amelia with an IV bag and a medical wristband, carrying a handheld CRTV that tunes unstable signals into warnings, story fragments and puzzle clues.

It has five endings — Justice, Forever, Abandoned, Dog and Sci-fi — decided by how you play rather than by any choice prompt.

Names that do appear in Townfall

• Simon Ordell — the protagonist, voiced by Jovan Adepo
• Zoe Ellis — a nurse who reaches Simon through CRTV static, voiced by Kezia Burrows
• Richard — the man who summons Simon back, voiced by Terry O'Quinn
• Dr. Glenn — named in a story trophy at the Medical Centre
• The Patient — the subject of a mission of the same name

Why misremembered names matter

Search terms like this one are usually a memory of a different game rather than a mistake worth correcting silently. Answering them properly is more useful than pretending the premise was right.

It also guards against a real problem with pre-launch guides: a character who does not exist is exactly the kind of gap that gets filled with invented detail.

How this page will change if we are wrong

Townfall releases on September 24, 2026, with Deluxe buyers playing from September 22. If a character named Alyssa turns out to exist, this page becomes a proper profile and says plainly that the pre-launch assessment was wrong.

That is the honest version of a correction page: state what is checkable now, and commit to updating it rather than hedging.
