Silent Hill Townfall Soundtrack, Composer and Bonus Application
Updated 2026-10-09 · Category: Guide
Silent Hill: Townfall's music is by Pilotpriest, the Canadian musician and filmmaker Anthony Scott Burns. It is the first main Silent Hill score not written by Akira Yamaoka. Konami announced Pilotpriest on April 7, 2026 with the track "Home". The official soundtrack comes with the Digital Deluxe Edition, inside a separate download called the Bonus Application, which also holds the digital artbook. As of launch, no standalone streaming or vinyl release had been announced.

Who is Pilotpriest?
Pilotpriest is the music project of Anthony Scott Burns, a Canadian director and visual artist who has released six albums since 2012, including the darkly electronic Trans. Gematsu and NME reported the announcement, made jointly by Konami, Annapurna Interactive and Screen Burn.
Screen Burn's director, Jon McKellan, said Burns's work as a film director and visual artist carries into the soundtrack. The first track, "Home", leans on piano and an ethereal mood that reminded many listeners of classic Silent Hill themes, while other coverage describes the wider score as synth-led and ambient.

Yamaoka has scored almost every main Silent Hill game since 1999 and returned for the Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill f. Townfall is made by an outside studio, Screen Burn in Scotland, with Annapurna Interactive, and Konami confirmed before launch that Yamaoka would not score it. Pilotpriest was announced in his place.
The Bonus Application: what it is and how to open it
The Bonus Application is a separate piece of software that comes with the Digital Deluxe Edition, alongside Simon's alternate outfit and the 48-hour early access. It contains two things: the digital artbook and the digital soundtrack.
Deluxe Edition and early access
- Make sure the Bonus Application is downloaded. It is listed as its own add-on on your purchase, not part of the main install
- PS5: launch it from the home screen or your Game Library, where it appears as SILENT HILL: Townfall – Bonus Application
- PC: look for it as a separate entry in your Steam or Epic library; search the library for "Bonus Application" if it is not next to the game
- Open it and choose the Artbook or the Original Soundtrack
The PlayStation Store notes that the Bonus Application does not support PS5 cloud streaming, though the game does. Sources disagree on whether the soundtrack can be taken out of the app as files; Silent Hill Memories lists MP3 and WAV formats, while some guides say it plays only inside the app.
Is the soundtrack on Spotify?
Not officially, as of launch. "Home" was released as a preview with a video, but Konami had not announced a full streaming, CD or vinyl release. Full-soundtrack uploads on YouTube and listings on streaming services are unofficial, and their track names conflict, so we do not reproduce a tracklist here.
