The CEG gas pipe puzzle is Chapter 14, Fix This, in CEG HQ (Different). Take the Reference Sheet and the Controller Key, unlock the alarm panel by the red clamp wheel and enter A5D7, then E3E3 on the right-hand panel. Crank the central tower on each floor: floor 1 two turns, floor 2 one turn left, floors 3 and 4 two turns each. Then press Gas Flow, Flow Test and IGNITE.

Step by step
- As you enter the main room of the new area, take the Reference Sheet from the desk on the right.
- Take the elevator to the second floor. The Controller Key is in the box on the console left of the red clamp wheel.
- Ground level: at the alarm panel beside the red clamp wheel, use the Controller Key on the keyhole, enter A5D7 and press OK.
- On the right-hand panel, enter E3E3 and press OK.
- Use the crank on each floor to rotate the middle tower until the red pipe runs unbroken to the top (turns in the table above).
- Back at ground level, on the right-hand panel press Gas Flow, then Flow Test (every light turns green), then IGNITE.

- Flow Test lights not all green: a floor is misaligned. Recheck floor 2, the only one that needs a single turn in one direction
- Alarm panel buttons dead: use the Controller Key on the keyhole first
- Codes refused: pick up the Reference Sheet; Townfall only accepts answers once you hold the clue

- CRTV broadcasts at about 42: one beside the Reference Sheet, one in the pipe room to the left before the ladder
- Strange Postcard 15: through the vent door after a short ladder, turn right then left at the four-way split; it is in the dead end. It completes Blur Your Eyes if you have the other 14
What comes next: SWDP
Chapter 15, Trying Again, moves to SWDP – Different, the water plant control room where you open Valve B, reroute the auxiliary lines and release the clamp. It is the last puzzle area before the final boss.
