How to get the Abandoned ending
A full collector can still get Abandoned. PowerPyx's plan for the first run collects all 85 Discoveries and kills every enemy, but on a speedrun with only the required documents it is much easier to push the score below zero.

- Kill every enemy you can while playing Simon, including the ones you would normally avoid while solving puzzles.
- Kill the extra enemies in the final boss arena as well.

Producer Motoi Okamoto has said the team does not designate any single ending as the true canon ending. There is no "real" version of the story to chase.

All five endings are required for the platinum, alongside New Game Plus, every collectible set and a run finished in under four hours.
With manual saves you need only two full runs: the main endings can be collected by reloading late saves, and both joke endings can be set up on the same New Game Plus run, although Sci-fi skips the final boss, so the Dog ending needs a reload or another finish.
Nothing forces a harder difficulty on you: the 37-trophy list contains no difficulty-related trophies, so ending runs can be played on Story Mode.
