How to Get the Justice Ending in Silent Hill Townfall
Updated 2026-10-06 · Category: Endings
Justice is the main ending for a final score of 20 or more. Each document or clue you pick up is +1. Each enemy Simon kills is −2, each cannula refill −4, and each mistake in Zoe's Chapter 7 surgery −3. Picking up all 85 Discoveries leaves room for roughly 30 kills as Simon. Kills as Zoe and Richard do not count. It awards the gold trophy For St. Amelia.

Justice is one of the five endings in Silent Hill: Townfall, alongside the others in the table below. Reaching it awards the gold trophy For St. Amelia.
It is one of the three main endings, which are reachable on a first playthrough. The game picks between them with a hidden score, not a dialogue choice.
How the game scores your run
The three main endings come from a hidden score. PowerPyx worked out the values from its own runs and from reader reports. Justice needs a final score of 20 or more.
- Kills made while playing Zoe or Richard do not change the score, although they still show in the end-of-game statistics
- Time played, healing items and dialogue choices make no difference
- There are 85 Discoveries in a full run; the end-of-game statistics show your Discoveries and Kills, but not the score itself
| What happens | Points |
|---|---|
| Each Discovery (a document or clue picked up) | +1 |
| Each enemy killed as Simon | −2 |
| Each cannula refill (Simon revived after dying) | −4 |
| Each mistake Zoe makes in the Chapter 7 surgery puzzles | −3 |
How to get the Justice ending
PowerPyx's readers reached Justice with 84 Discoveries and 46 kills, and with 84 Discoveries, 75 kills and 6 refills, which suggests not every kill on the statistics screen is a Simon kill. If you are close, make a manual save in Chapter 15 before the Clamp Release Procedure so you can adjust the ending.
Every document, chapter by chapter
- Pick up every document and clue you pass. The walkthrough lists them under each chapter.
- Avoid fights as Simon. Lure and sneak past enemies instead; each kill costs 2 points.
- Do not die more than you have to. A cannula refill costs 4 points.
- Read the monitors carefully in Zoe's Chapter 7 surgery. Each mistake costs 3 points.
- Fight as much as you like as Richard in Part 5. Those kills do not count.
How this ending fits the full set
The trophy grades match the split: three gold trophies for the main endings, two silver for the joke pair. Nothing about the main-ending score affects Dog or Sci-fi, so you can chase a joke ending on any score.
All five endings and the full scoring rules
Which ending counts as the good one?
| Ending | Trophy | Grade | How you get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Justice | For St. Amelia | Gold | Score 20 or more |
| Forever | Here To Stay | Gold | Score 0 to 19 |
| Abandoned | Just Making Things Worse | Gold | Score below 0 |
| Dog | Let's Talk This Out | Silver | New Game Plus: three coins in three dog charity banks |
| Sci-fi | Sci-fi-lent Hill | Silver | New Game Plus: three books, an access card and a keypad |
No ending is the canon ending
Producer Motoi Okamoto has said the team does not designate any single ending as the true canon ending. There is no "real" version of the story to chase.
That changes how to approach Justice: it is a legitimate outcome of a particular run, not a better or worse result than the others.
What this means for a completionist
All five endings are required for the platinum, alongside New Game Plus, every collectible set and a run finished in under four hours.
With manual saves you need only two full runs: the main endings can be collected by reloading late saves, and both joke endings can be set up on the same New Game Plus run, although Sci-fi skips the final boss, so the Dog ending needs a reload or another finish.
Nothing forces a harder difficulty on you: the 37-trophy list contains no difficulty-related trophies, so ending runs can be played on Story Mode.

A visual metaphor only, not an ending scene, trigger condition or canonical outcome.
